Approximately 1.5 hours from Christchurch, yet it feels like a world away.
Whether you choose a beautifully styled beach ceremony or extend your experience with a two-night stay in a modern, renovated bach, this is more than a wedding setting — it’s an experience. Nestled into the hillside and surrounded by native bush, the bach feels private, sheltered, and quietly connected to the landscape. A place to arrive, exhale, and settle in — where your wedding becomes something to truly experience, not just a single moment.
Just a short walk to Le Bons Beach, the rugged coastline creates a striking backdrop for your ceremony. Afterwards, return to the bach to celebrate — champagne on the deck, food shared, stories told, and the day unfolding with ease.
Every experience is fully planned for you — from venue, celebrant, photography and florals through to catering and beverage options — all thoughtfully brought together by your coordinator so everything flows with ease from start to finish. We take on a limited number of elopements, with bookings open up to six months in advance in line with our venue agreements, allowing each experience to be carefully planned and beautifully delivered.

To ensure a seamless experience, we organise and prepare all catering and beverages for your day, including serving your guests so you can focus on celebrating. A service fee is added on confirmation of your catering and drink selections.
